Monon Trail User Count Update 12/31/2022

12/31/2022 - The City of Carmel has an optical traffic counter on the Monon Trail, near Main Street. This is the traffic data with just a few hours remaining in 2022. Cyclists so far this year: 165,586 Cyclists today: 37 Pedestrians this year: 600,882 Pedestrians today: 706 Adding the cyclists and the pedestrians, that's more than three quarters of a million people in one year, traversing just this one spot on the trail. That's an amazing number and a strong signal that people love trails. Let's build more trails, Indiana!
